Abby made all my dreams come true. Everything I wanted, everything I dreamed of for my wedding, they turned into a reality! I interviewed about 3 other vendors before meeting these ladies. During our initial meeting, I literally could not stop smiling. I knew they were the ones who could help make my wedding perfect. 1. My wedding was an outdoor, ranch setting, about 68 miles outside of Houston. They contacted and organized the perfect vendors to travel to the wedding site. The ladies came to the site multiple times to perfect the layout. The ranch we got married at, was literally a blank canvas that they turned into every Texas-country girl’s dream. The tenting–perfect. The table decorations– perfect. The FOOD TRUCKS–perfect! The ladies never hesitated to make the trip out to the ranch to plan and prepare. 2. My own bridezilla moments were quickly resolved by them. The ladies were very ORGANIZED and PROFESSIONAL and a wonderful calming and encouraging voice to me during my bridezilla moments! 3. Budget- The ladies handled all my vendor negotiations calmly and politely. These ladies have amazing fellow vendors who worked with me, my mother, my budget, my needs and wants. These ladies are the real deal. God blessed me by putting them in my life to help me plan the Best Day Ever!
Abby is a treasure. She is efficient, professional, knowledgeable and a true delight. I ‘gifted’ Abby to my future daughter in law and her mother since we all lived out of town. Abby helped us with vendors and worked out any problems we encountered. I would highly recommend her and her staff……I just wish I had engaged their services sooner. (Oh and she has a darling sense of humor that helps tremendously).
Despite my husband originally thinking a wedding planner was unnecessary, his mindset changed by the time we said “I do!” We felt that Abby understood our desires for our wedding and when we had a big ‘blip’ before the big day she was on top of taking care of things and finding alternative options to make my life significantly less stressful. From a personal standpoint she was very attentive, easy to reach, and never felt I drove her (too!) crazy with all my questions. She works with some great vendors that helped make our wedding both fun and special. I felt she chose vendors because they would be a good fit, not because she was pushing us to spend more money than we wanted to. I would strongly recommend Abby as a wedding planner!
Abby was the perfect day-of coordinator for our 300-person, multi-cultural wedding. They were easy to communicate with, 24-hour or less response time on all questions, and handled hitches and family drama with grace, which for us were the most important qualities and worth every penny. They are highly organized, professional yet personable, and treated everyone with respect. We’re an out-of-town couple and had our initial meeting over video chat, and from there everything was via email. Our big day had a lot of moving parts, but they made sure that everything ran smoothly (and on time!). We were truly blessed to have found them!
Our wedding would not have been a smooth and easy process without Abby plain and simple. They exceeded my expectations on a daily basis! My husband and I got married at Prohibition Supperclub in downtown Houston. It is a gorgeous location, but the venue staff had very little experience planning weddings and large events. It was a struggle throughout the entire process to work with our venue so we hired Abby and Maria to help us execute our perfect wedding. They handled our difficult venue staff with extreme professionalism and the right amount of sternness. They are efficient, creative, organized, and hilarious. Hire Abby and her team if you want the wedding of your dreams!
My husband and I had the opportunity to work with both Abby and Maria, and they were wonderful! They were organized, very responsive, and always one step ahead of us. We used them for their day-of planning services and could not have been more pleased. They kept us calm not only the day of the wedding, but in the crazy weeks leading up to it. I can not say enough about how amazing Abby and Maria were with our wedding! I had met with a couple other planners to get a feel for what was out there, and these girls were by far the most professional and personable of them all. I hired them right away. Going with Abby and Maria was hands-down the absolute BEST decision made during the entire process (besides saying yes to the proposal of course!). They are very accessible, friendly, and on top of their game…very dependable. As the day approached, I can honestly say I was very confident and comfortable with everything we had prepared. The wedding was perfect! I think it’s also important to note that every vendor that we worked with from the caterers, the photographer, the venue, etc all went out of their way to let us know how much they appreciated working with Abby and Maria throughout the entire process of our wedding and spoke very highly of them. That in itself also speaks volumes of these girls. I HIGHLY recommend them!!
Abby and Maria from Serendipitous Event Planning + Design were absolutely wonderful wedding planners! I was an extremely picky bride. I wanted everything done meticulously and I wanted to be the one to make the final decisions. Abby and Maria have a talent for allowing the bride to stay in control but managing all the little details behind the scene. I made all the big choices, and as the big day approached, they handled all the little details. On our actual wedding day, I was too overwhelmed to make any more decisions. Abby and Maria took over and made decisions for me that they thought I would like best based on what they knew about me so far – they were spot on. I would highly recommend them to anybody!
Serendipitous helped me create my dream wedding. They took care of me the entire weekend, and made sure that all vendors were on schedule. I did not have to worry about anything, and the entire weekend went off without any worry. I cannot thank them enough for allowing me to be worry-free and stress free on my wedding day. It was a dream come true.
Abby and Maria are a DYNAMITE team. They saved my life! I only wish that I had found them sooner, but as soon as we met they grabbed all of the pieces I had planned so far and took it from there. They were really flexible and evaporated the stress as my wedding drew closer. My mom, mother-in-law, new husband, my bridesmaids were all super impressed and extremely happy that Abby and Maria were there to make everything go smoothly and to calm my nerves. Choosing Abby as our wedding planner was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Prior to hiring Abby, we were overwhelmed with all the details and tasks that had to be done. However, at our first meeting with Abby, all of our fears were put to rest. She is one of the most organized and hard working people that we have ever met. We decided to go with the Providence Package, which is the most inclusive plan. With various checklists, Abby was able to make our tasks more manageable. Abby had a list of recommended vendors for every aspect of the wedding, and we were very satisfied with the choices we made from that list. When we chose a vendor outside of her recommended list, Abby was willing to accommodate and develop a good working relationship to allow us to customize our wedding experience. Abby went above and beyond and even created a Design Presentation Board with visual suggestions for our flowers, invitations, cake, etc. to fit in with a unified theme. She came with us to our cake tasting and floral appointments, offering invaluable advice that helped us make the best decisions. The day before the wedding, Abby had made an hour-by-hour itinerary for the wedding day that she provided to the entire wedding party to make sure everyone was on the same page in regards to the events of the big day. I even had a freak out moment when I noticed the lights at the reception venue were being set up wrong. I called Abby; she got right on it and fixed it within an hour! On the day of the wedding, Abby was there every step of the way. She made sure everything started on time, and all the vendors knew where to go. While we were taking pictures during the cocktail hour, she brought appetizers and drinks for the wedding party to keep us going. During the reception, she made sure the bride and groom were well fed and even brought us drinks throughout the reception. We even had a few wedding crashers. She immediately spotted them and kicked them out – what an amazing planner! Overall, we cannot be happier that we chose Abby. She made our wedding day absolutely perfect!
